The Cogs are falling into place for the Gears of War 4 beta

Microsoft has revealed exactly when players will get their first official chance to check out the upcoming Gears of War 4. The first, public oriented beta test is just a little over a month away. Everything will kick off on April18, when anyone who played Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, either on the Xbox One or PC, will receive early access to the beta. These players will be able to play between April 18 and April 24.

Once that initial period has ended, the open beta portion of the test will commence from April 25 until May for all Xbox Live Gold members. You do not have to worry if you have not gotten a chance to play Gears of War: Ultimate Edition yet. Major Nelson is reporting that the qualification period for the early access portion of the beta has been extended and you now have up until April 11 to earn your early access tokens.
