New battle type has been announced for World of Warships called "Team Battles" which will set sail in Update 0.5.3. The new battle type unlocks at account level 12 and allows captains to create an elite squadron of players. Captains will work with them to build up and sharpen their skills before setting out to obliterate their opponents and rule the waves.
Team Battles will consist of 7-v-7 matches. Teams can have up to 10 people on their team with 3 in reserve. The Team Battles are only going to be available during "prime time" to ensure that a competitive numbers of players are all in the queue.
