I've been in love with battleships ever since I was a tyke playing with boats in a bathtub. World of Warships is my jam. Battleships are artifacts now. The Navy today handles its business from much, much further away than it did in World War II. But those WWII ships are the golden guns. Those were the largest war machines on the planet. And they're absolutely beautiful.
Developer Wargaming gives us a sneak preview of what's in store for World of Warships. From fully modeled ship armor (so you can see where it's thick and thin), to aircraft carrier changes, to weather effects, 2016 will be a busy year for the naval combat simulator.
Have you been thinking of pulling Battleship out of your old board game closet? Don't. Play World of Warships instead. It's free to play over at worldofwarships.com.
