It is hard to believe that we are already rolling into February and things are about to pick up in a serious way. The next two months are going to be almost as busy as the holiday season was a few months ago. This week’s headliner is a PC exclusive in Firaxis Games’ XCOM 2, the strategic game that has you in the role of defending Earth against alien invaders. The series is truly one of the great in gaming and the latest entry is already garnering reviews that call it the best one yet. We should have our review in the coming weeks.

Also launching this week is a game that is near and dear to my heart: Gravity Rush Remastered. The original game was a Vita exclusive and arguably one of the best games available on Sony’s portable platform. The Remastered version brings the original game and all of its DLC to the PS4 and after spending the weekend with it, I can proudly say that it has made the transition in fantastic form. The game looks absolutely gorgeous on the PS4 and it plays a ton better even though it was originally designed to take full advantage of the Vita’s touchscreen.
