Fire Emblem Fates is only a few weeks away and Nintendo is rolling out the hype train with this latest TV spot. The short ad spells out the premise of the game and shows off mostly cutscenes with a few snippets of gameplay. To be honest I'm not exactly thrilled with the minor censorship going on in the American localization--Nintendo shouldn't be ashamed enough by Japanese cultural differences that they cut aspects from the game. That said with the current climate surrounding gaming I don't blame Nintendo for being gunshy. All it takes is one clickbait puff piece trying to stir up a tempest in a teapot and the historically reserved Nintendo would have a real publicity headache on their hands.
