Publisher Deep Silver and developer Dambuster Studios have announced that upcoming first-person shooter Homefront: The Revolution will include an online four-player cooperative "Resistance Mode". In the mode players will form a Resistance Cell to rage guerrilla warfare against the entranced KPA military in locales across Philadelphia.
As with other online shooters players will be leveling up their player, unlocking new skills, and earning better weapons and equipment. Xbox One owners will be able to try out the closed beta first from February 11-14. Game director at Dambuster Studios Hasit Zala described the game's feature set:
Homefront: The Revolution is this team's most ambitious project yet. In addition to our epic 30-plus hour single-player campaign, we expect to launch Resistance Mode with 12 Missions, packed with re-playability, and hope to release another 20 Missions within the first year. To ensure our community can always play together, all Resistance Mode Missions will be free to download.
Homefront: The Revolution will launch on May 17 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC.
