I can't take my eyes off Hans Palm's work. Handling the heavy lifting when it came to 3D art, Palm is largely to blame for Strike Suit Zero (Gaming Nexus score: 8/10) looking more triple-A than it was indie.
Now he's doing the same for Fractured Space, a 5v5 space combat game in Steam Early Access. His NASA-inspired aesthetic blows my mind. He's responsible for the game's USR (United Space Research) line of ships. Some of the final in-game designs have been altered—gotta take one for the team sometimes—but Palm's fingerprints are all over this stuff. The ships are rendered in Unreal Engine 4.
You can check out his portfolio here. The attention to detail is insane. It's hard to pick a favorite.
