Deep Silver confirmed today that Homefront: The Revolution will be hitting PC's and current generation consoles on May 17th, 2016. The did so via a snazzy new trailer which you can check out below.
Also included in the announcement was that the game will be broken into three different zones, each with their own different gameplay mechanism. The first zone is the Yellow zone which is a densely populated area where it sounds like you will have to blend into crowds Assassin Creed style. The other two zones are the bombed out Red zone and the highly militarized (i.e. occupied) Green zone.
While we loved the concept of the first game the single player campaign was a bit on the short side. Hopefully the next game expands on the universe a bit and lasts a bit longer than four hours.
