I sunk dozens of hours into Xenoblade Chronicles X for my review. It's an awesome game, but sometimes it's hard to know where to start, doubly so with multiplayer. I found the game's online features to be the most difficult aspect to grasp, so thankfully Nintendo has a quick-start guide in their latest survival video. This dev diary explains how to go on raids, trade loot and take on BLADE division missions.
X's multiplayer isn't required to enjoy the game but if you can understand it, it can give you a leg up on some of the game's trickier missions or its more elusive items.
