Tekken 7 has been tearing up Japanese arcades since March, and the game is expected to land on current generation consoles in the next couple of months. Meanwhile, Namco Bandai is prepping a major update to the arcade version in the form of Tekken 7: Fated Retribution. This new expansion on the game will feature revamped default costumes for the playable characters and various stage alterations.
The biggest addition with the new version however is the inclusion of Street Fighter staple, Akuma. Yes, the Raging Demon himself is being added to the world of Tekken. Judging by the new trailer that is shown below, we aren’t just talking about a guest appearance either. It appears as though Akuma is being integrated into the game’s lore and storyline in a major way. Perhaps this is the beginning of the setup for Tekken X Street Fighter.
