Fans of the Dark Souls series will be happy to know that Dark Souls 3 now has a U.S. release date. Namco Bandai has announced that Dark Souls 3 will launch on April 16th, 2016 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. However, there's more. Namco Bandai has also announced a Day One Edition of the game for $59.99 that includes the game itself, a Prima Starter Guide, the official Dark Souls 3 soundtrack, and official O-Sleeve packaging. Namco Bandai is encouraging fans to pre-order the game to ensure that they secure their free Day One Edition upgrade.
Finally, a collector's edition has been announced that'll retail for $129.99 and includes the game, starter guide, soundtrack, and official art book, a cloth game map, a 10" Red Knight statue, and a collector's box. The Day One Edition and Collector's Edition will be exclusive to the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game as it's kind of hard to have physical items for a digital game. That would be interesting though come to think of it.
