Disney Infinity Star Wars figures get a cool new feature

Well, at least a few of them do. Disney Interactive has released special, updated versions of all of the Jedi related Disney Infinity 3.0 figures this week. All of them function in the exact same manner as the previous figures, only now their lightsabers will light up when they are placed on the Disney Infinity base.

While this is just a cosmetic change, you have to admit that it is a pretty cool feature. If you are wanting to get your hands on these new, “Light FX” enhanced figures, you are going to have to do a little bit of running around. Each of the six figures is exclusive to a different retailer. You will find each one at the following:

• Amazon: Kanan Jarrus
• Best Buy: Anakin Skywalker
• Gamestop: Obi-Wan Kenobi
• Target: Yoda
• Toys R Us: Darth Vader
• Walmart: Luke Skywalker

While they all look really cool, I am extremely disappointed that there are no Ahsoka or Darth Maul offered. I guess light-up, duel lightsabers is just too much for Star Wars fans to handle.
