Before the game gets shown off in its latest form at the PlayStation Experience, Deep Silver is showing off a variety of newly announced features for Mighty No. 9. The game, which is the dreamchild of Keiji Inafune, has grown a lot since it was first revealed and, judging by this trailer, quite a bit more since its last delay.
The trailer, shown below, highlights a bunch of the various gameplay modes that will be featured in the game. In additional to the normal adventure / campaign, the game is designed to promote replayability with options such as Boss Rush mode, Challenge Mode, online cooperative and competitive modes, and an insanely challenging “one hit death” mode.
The game looks absolutely fantastic and I am glad to see Inafune’s new studio doing something with the Mega Man style of gameplay since Capcom is leaving the franchise dormant. Mighty No. 9 launches on pretty much every platform imaginable on February 9, 2016.
