In celebration of the launch of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, Ubisoft announced that Siege Day will take place on Monday, November 23, 2015 at Exchange LA in Los Angeles. The star-studded launch will begin with an undercard tournament featuring the winners of The Siege Games at 2pm PST, and the main event will premiere at 6pm PST.
Streaming of the event will be done on twitch at twitch.tv/Rainbow6. For those watching the broadcast, you'll be able to see exclusive gameplay reveals, celebrities, and popular personalities. There will also be giveaways and much more!
For those not familiar with Siege Day, it's the culmination of the Siege Games. The Siege Games, which is a competitive tour, took place at major gaming events around the US where gamers competed for the highest score in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. A total of thirty winners from The Siege Games will step into the Siege Day arena in Los Angeles to show off their skills and battle it out. Those thirty individuals will get to hang out with famous faces, be treated to what Ubisoft is calling "insane surprises", and help to raise money for charity in an event that will be streamed live across the globe!
Also, Ubisoft and Extra Life, a Children's Miracle Network Hospitals fundraising program, announced that their partnership donated a total of over $80,000 in 2015 for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in North America. Those who donated $6 or more to Extra life received a guaranteed access code to the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Closed Beta. The donations help injured and sick children in local communities as well as purchase life-saving equipment, fund medical research and training, and pay for uncompensated patient care. Awesome job to all those who donated!
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege will be released worldwide on December 1, 2015 for PlayStation®4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
