Part of a series of videos where each of the national teams is represented, Rainbow Six Siege goes into detail with its Spetsnaz unit.
As with all of the units, each soldier in the Spetsnaz branch has his own specific ability. The first, Tachanka, has a mountable turret for broad range of motion. Glaz has an "HDS flip sight" that allows him to apply and remove a scope to his rifle. Kapkan has a homemade booby trap that will go off when an enemy crosses the laser tripwire. Finally, Fuze has a device that deploys multiple mini grenades through floors and walls.
Interestingly, it seems there was some upset from Russian fans in the comments section of this video, calling the equipment outdated and Ubisoft out of touch. I don't know anything about the current state of Spetsnaz outfitting, though if the comments are to believed, neither does Ubisoft.
Rainbow Six Siege will be released December 1st.
