The launch trailer for Rise of the Tomb Raider is here, and no surprise to anyone who played 2013's Tomb Raider, it looks absolutely great.
The trailer shows more of the location than we have seen so far, and apparently a significant portion of the game will take place in a desert. Most of the screenshots and promotional material so far has seemed to be focused on Lara's frigid wintery surroundings, but since Rise of the Tomb Raider is going to be three times larger than its predecessor, I suppose there is room for multiple locales.
It also shows some pretty incredible set-pieces, which again will come as no surprise to those who played the previous entry. It's good to see that the game looks like it has maintained its balance of careful navigation of trap-laden tombs with the explosive action scenes.
Expect Rise of the Tomb Raider on November 10th.
