The fifth and final episode of Life Is Strange hits this week, and I'm using it as an excuse to bring in-game photographer Dead End Thrills back in the mix.
Life Is Strange, an episodic supernatural teen drama, has kept at least a couple of us Gaming Nexus staffers riveted over the past nine months. In Slack, I even overheard our own Travis Huinker ready to give it a game-of-the-year nod, right here and now. I won't hold him to that at the end of the year, though.
Just kidding. I will hold him to that. Or he'll catch plenty wreck from me if he goes back on it. This game proves that Telltale, while milking an excellent formula, doesn't have a monopoly on adventure gaming.
Life Is Strange's graphic adventure is out now, in its entirety, on Windows, PlayStation 4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
