While I don’t think that anyone is surprised at the fact that 2K Sports has a full schedule of DLC lined up for the upcoming WWE 2K16, I am a little surprised by some of its contents. This morning the developer revealed their plans for content releasing after the game launches later this month.
Here is what will be available for the game, with some being available at launch and others releasing over the course of the next couple of months:
Accelerator: the usual, unlock everything in the game option
MyPlayer KickStart (only on Xbox One and PS4): gives players the ability to boost created superstar attributes and ratings in the MyCareer mode
Legends Pack: adds the following playable characters to the game
Big Boss Man
Dusty Rhodes
Lita
Mr. Perfect
Rowdy Roddy Piper
Trish Stratus
2015 Hall of Fame Showcase: adds the following playable matches to the game’s Showcase mode
Macho Man Randy Savage vs. Jake The Snake Roberts
Rikishi vs. The Rock
Alundra Blayze vs. Paige
Larry Zbysko vs. Arn Anderson
Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Ric Flair
The Bushwackers vs. The Natural Disasters
The Outsiders vs. Harlem Heat
New Moves Pack: adds more than 30 new moves to characters throughout the game
Future Stars Pack: adds the following playable characters to the game
Samoa Joe
Diego
Fernando
Blake
Murphy
In addition to buying each of these items individuality, the game will also offer a Season Pass that will give you the Accelerator, Legends Pack, 2015 Hall of Fame Showcase, New Moves Pack and the Future Stars Pack for $24.99.
