Being a former computer science major, I've seen similar astronomical sums before, but it remains quite amazing how quickly combinations of variables can pile up the number of possible outputs. Gearbox, the folks behind Borderlands, have released a new video featuring just how quickly the combinations of different hero can add up in their upcoming PvP first person MOBA, Battleborn. You've got 25 heroes, each with a choice of 1 of 2 skills to acquire on each of 10 level upgrades. You've also got 5 alternate skills per hero, across team combinations of 5v5 in game. End result: more team combinations of heroes, skills, abilities, and teams than stars in the universe. Exponentiation is crazy, yo.
Battleborn releases February 9th, 2016 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
