Publisher Atlus has sent word that fans will be waiting even longer for the release of Persona 5 as it's been pushed back to 2016 in Japan and North America. Atlus acknowledges the frustration this causes for fans of the game series, but reassures them that this delay is to make sure the next iteration will live up to all the expectations.
To help a bit with the delay, a new trailer has been released that further showcases the game's world and battle system. Persona 5 will be available in 2016 exclusively for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
