Yesterday, September 13, marked the 30th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. As a happy birthday card, Mashable's illustrators put together a hipster reimagining of the brothers Mario & Co., since, wow isn't this great, hipsters are the poster children of the 20-teens (is that how we would pronounce 2010's?)
This all comes just in time for Super Mario Maker's meteoric rise in popularity, too. Our resident Nintendo guru, Sean Colleli, gives it an 8.5 out of 10. And Jeremy Duff, Sr. Editor here at Gaming Nexus, was just saying, "It's so addictive," this morning on the staff's Slack chat.
Happy 30th, Super Mario Bros. crew. Have a Pabst.
