Well it's become a bit dry on the Virtual Console front this week once again as both of the big games aren't from prior Nintendo systems. First off is Wind-up Knight 2, an action platformer where you play as Sprint, a clockwork knight who can't stop moving. You have to jump, swing, roll, attack, and endure dangers such as traps and cliffs. The game is already available for mobile devices and can now be played on the Wii U via the Nintendo eShop.
Also on the Wii U eShop is Pandora's Tower which is a game about a cursed young woman's transformation into a hideous beast and the man she loves trying to save her. Sounds kind of like a reversal of Beauty and the Beast of sorts. Pandora's Tower was originally released for the Wii and is now the action RPG is available via the Wii U's eShop.
One more major event going on this week (not counting the usual sales on the 3DS and Wii U's eShops) is the ability to get a shiny Rayquaza in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire. This shiny Rayquaza will know the move Dragon Ascent which allows it to Mega Evolve. You can head on over to www.pokemon.com/rayquaza for more info and you can get shiny Rayquaza until September 14th.
