Pocket News is reporting on a new firmware for the PlayStation 4 in testing that has some new features that should interest more than a few folks.
YouTube is getting into the video streaming business and the new firmware looks like it'll have the ability to do just that; live stream on YouTube. Currently, it can do Twitch and UStream, but YouTube is the biggie and a great addition to the console.
If you like to tweet, the new firmware will let you produce a 10 second clip and post it on Twitter.
For families, it sounds like you'll be able to create sub accounts, specifically for kids. I know I need this feature for sure.
No word on the release date, but it sounds like a nice update will be coming to PlayStation 4 owners.
