The latest trailer for military simulator Arma 3 introduces the upcoming terrain of Tanoa. The developers at Bohemia Interactive describe their motivations for picking the setting, current progress on its development, and explain their goals with designing the terrain.
As usual, the environments on display are stunning and makes the wait till its release even more difficult. I know the first thing I'll be doing upon release is by following the trailer's method of exploring the island by a prop plane.
The Tanoa terrain will be included in an Arma 3 expansion that's scheduled for release in the first half of 2016. The expansion will also include new vehicles, weapons, equipment and gear, units, and missions.
