In this latest clip from IGN we see how indie electronica band 65daysofstatic came to score the entire soundtrack for No Man's Sky. Creator Sean Murray gushes about how much he loves the band and how it inspired the early days of development, which is cool, but it's all stuff we've heard before. They don't tell us how procedurally generated music works to create a hypothetically infinite soundtrack, which is disappointing. In any case I hope we get less of the "coffee shop jamming" and more "techno by way of 2001 A Space Odyssey chorals."
