The news about Hulk Hogan's alleged racist rant broke earlier today, resulting in the wrestling icon's subsequent termination from World Wrestling Entertainment. The rant (which we will not link you you) was leaked out and includes Hogan saying several racial slurs and insensitive comments. Hogan was immediately yanked as a panelist from WWE's show Tough Enough and had all images and merchandise of him pulled from WWE.com's website.
So what does this mean for the upcoming title WWE 2K16? About what you expect. If Hogan has had all ties removed to WWE, then they aren't about to sign off on including him in their featured video game. While there has been no official word from 2K Games or from Yukes, it would be a huge surprise if Hogan was among the final roster.
It's sad to see Hogan go out this way, but we shouldn't expect to see Hulkamania running wild on any future WWE title from here on out. If 2K Games has an official statement, we will update this posting with it.
