Dark Horse bringing another video game blockbuster to comic book form

Let’s take a look at the list of video games that Dark Horse has brought to life in the world of comic books recently: the Witcher, Plants vs. Zombies, Mirror’s Edge, Halo, and even Tomb Raider. The list is not only impressive, but it continues to grow regularly. The publisher has recently announced another franchise that will be making the jump to its paneled-pages and that is Activision’s prize possession: Call of Duty.

Dark Horse, Activision and Treyarch are teaming up behind the artistic talents of Larry Hama and Marcelo Ferreira to pen a new line of comics based on Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. The series will follow an elite squad that infiltrates Tashkent, Uzbekistan on a mission to take down a double agent. The first issue will be hitting stands on November 1, 2015, just a few short days before the game launches.
