inXile Entertainment's Kickstarter funded resurrection of the Bard's Tale franchise with Bard's Tale IV is in its final hours. The Kickstarter ends tomorrow, July 10th, and while it has met it's initial goal surpassing $1.25m it still hasn't met all the stretch goals that reach to $1.9m. For the big final push, inXile has released the promo mock-infomercial below. It's pretty amusing.
The basic pricing structure of the Kickstarter is that for $27 you back the game and get a free digital download from GOG.com. There are a limited run of copies available at discounted rates, a $20 option that is sold out and a $25 option that has about 2700 left of the initial 10,000. As in most Kickstarters as you pledge more, more goodies unlock. There is much more detail on the actual Kickstarter page. But in the meantime enjoy the video.
