Unfortunately, this is what they are talking about when they refer to the “Summer drought” in terms of game releases. There really isn’t a lot going on right now, in terms of AAA releases. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing though as there are plenty of quality Indie titles to fill the void during the hottest months of the year. Rocket League is this week’s headliner, making its debut on the PS4 and PC. I have heard nothing but good things about the game from the various beta tests that they have had and am looking forward to a new multiplayer addiction on the PS4.
