This new story trailer for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided delivers just the kind of troubling, morally ambiguous storytelling that I've always loved about the series. Two years after the Panchea disaster in Human Revolution, augmented humans are hated and segregated from society in future-dystopian apartheid. Now Adam Jensen is hired to track down the resistance leader of the augmented humans--he's basically hunting his own kind at this point.
I'm sure all manner of conspiracies will factor into the new game's story, and it looks like things are going down the tubes to the truly desperate, run-down state we see in the original Deus Ex. Will we see the Northwest War in this game? What about the origins of Paul and JC Denton? With this game and Doom both slated for next spring, I'm feeling awfully impatient.
