Nintendo finally, finally pulled the curtain back on Star Fox Zero, their leading holiday title for Wii U. This clip they've put together shows enthusiastic response from the fans in attendance, and playing the game must be like water in the desert for them. That said, long absence leads to desperation. The folks over at Nintendolife aren't exactly glowing after their experience with the playable demo and its bizarre control scheme. Color me as worried about how this one will turn out. I just hope it doesn't cast a bad light on co-developer Platinum Games, who are known for extremely tight controls and satisfying action titles. I have a feeling the Wii U GamePad mandate could hurt this game more than anything.
