Bungie unveiled the latest Destiny expansion yesterday at E3, The Taken King. The Taken King tells the story of the revenge of Oryx and his army of "Taken" that manipulate the Darkness. The expansion "introduces a new story campaign and quests, new enemies to fight, new locations to explore, new Strikes and Crucible maps, a new Raid that will put players to the ultimate test" or so says the official site.
If we're being honest, it's been a bumpy ride for Desity thus far. But one thing the folks there at Bungie can definitely put together is a trailer. The E3 trailer is below and it's pretty filthy. Bungie is also giving those who haven't waded into Destiny's waters a way to get caught up all at once, with The Taken King: Legendary Edition. The Legendary Edition is priced at $59.99, will be available as a digital download or on disc, and includes the Destiny Game with all three expansions: The Dark Below, House of Wolves, and The Taken King.
The Taken King releases September 15th. More info, preorder details on the Legendary Edition, can be found on the official site.
