Only embers remain, baby!
Dark Souls 3 has been confirmed for PC, PS4 and Xbox One for an early 2016 release. Possibly the best news, though, is that Hidetaka Miyazaki is coming back to the series, after his absence on Dark Souls 2 while he worked on Bloodborne.
Also, Bandai Namco has called it the final chapter of the series. If Bloodborne hadn't just come out, this would make me sad, thinking that this would be the end. But it's clear that the Dark Souls-like games will not be ending anytime soon, which makes the idea of an epic conclusion to Dark Souls really exciting.
