Capcom has reminded us today that they haven't entirely forgotten about the Blue Bomber aside from the yearly Mega-May events. Today Capcom announced Mega Man Legacy Collection for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC this summer while a 3DS version will come sometime around winter. This also means that Mega Man will make his long awaited debut on Steam.
Mega Man Legacy Collection will be a compilation of the six NES games but will also include new challenge modes which hasn't been made clear what exactly that'll entail yet, but I'd love to see something similar to the Endless Modes from Mega Man 9 and 10. There will also be a museum mode of sorts with various artwork to check out. My only real disappointment here is that 7-10 isn't included nor that this is coming out on the Wii U. You can then argue that Mega Man 1-6 are already on the Wii U's Virtual Console, but it's also on the 3DS so...yeah.
Capcom has also confirmed that playable demos for Mega Man Legacy Collection, Resident Evil 0, and Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition will be at E3 as well as the first major event appearance of Street Fighter V. I'm hoping something major is announced for SF5 other than a character that we already know will be in the game (ie. please don't say there will be a major announcement only to say Ken will be in the game).
