Ok Nintendo, I give! I cannot take the constant teasing that you do with Yoshi’s Woolly World for the Wii U. Every time I see new footage or information on the game, I get the “I have to have them all” feeling. So many Yoshis! That feeling was magnified by about a thousand with the latest trailer for the game which shows off the Amiibo support for the game.
The latest trailer, shown below, details just what you can expect to experience when you scan in a Mario, Donkey Kong, or Link Amiibo figure. Yoshi transforms into a variation of those characters in Yarn-Yoshi form. They look awesome! These patterns aren’t just limited to these three figures as the game will support a ton of Amiibos, including Sonic the Hedgehod, Mega Man, Toon Link, Pac-Man, Wario, Ness, Little Mac, and even Pit. It has been stated that more than 40 figures will be supported by the game, so I guess that means that I need to start buying Amiibos again.
Yoshi’s Woolly World launches later this year on the Wii U.
