Earlier this year, the absolutely fantastic Resident Evil remaster, which originally appeared exclusively on the Gamecube, made its way to current gen, next gen and PC's and people were wondering if Resident Evil 0 would get the same release. Well, we got our answer but sadly, we have to wait a bit.
Capcom announced that a remastered version of Resident Evil 0 will in fact be released for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC in early 2016. My guess would be in January like the release of the Resident Evil remaster.
No other details about the game have been released but the original director of RE0, Koji Oda and other staff are returning for the development of the remaster.
I am pretty excited about this as I pretty much have the Resident Evil remake completely memorized at this point, but I never actually got around to finishing Resident Evil 0. It's been what? 12 years now since RE0 was released? I guess waiting another 7 months or so to play through it again isn't that much of a wait.
