Here are your PC specs that Oculus recommends for the Rift

Thinking about getting an Oculus Rift next year? Oculus has put out the recommended specs for your PC to get the best experience. Of course, it also depends on the game as some will need more power than others. The specs aren't too outrageous, but you'll definitely want to get a good video card. The specs are:

  • NVIDIA GTX 970 / AMD 290 equivalent or greater
  • Intel i5-4590 equivalent or greater
  • 8GB+ RAM
  • Compatible HDMI 1.3 video output
  • 2x USB 3.0 ports
  • Windows 7 SP1 or newer

Hopefully, we'll get the final specs of the Rift next to see what they have done to improve it over Crescent Bay.
