The question on when you can buy an Oculus Rift has finally been answered, sort of. Oculus announced that the consumer version of the Rift will go on sale in Q1 of 2016. With that they've also released two images showing the updated look of the product.
What wasn't announced was the final price. The first Rift was $300 while DK2 set you back $350. You'll be able to pre-order it later this year though.
More details on the technical side of things will be talked about next week. I'm interested to see what improvements they've made over Crescent Bay. Oh, they did mention something about E3 so you know who I'm going to hit up to see when I'm out there.
