Valve allowed people to charge money for mods, then other people made Valve walk that one all the way back. Double Fine blew the doors off Kickstarter in 2012 with Broken Age, and this week, that game is complete.
What are you playing this weekend?

I'll likely be using this weekend to wrap up both Crypt of the Necrodancer and Titan Souls. Both games are pretty fun. Then again, I'm a sucker for anything that resembles an NES or Super NES game.\ Beyond that, I recently fired up Final Fantasy VII for the first time in awhile, since I have an inkling of where to go—when I left off, Aerith just bit the big one. So, I followed the path I needed to take and, holy crap, I'm back on the world map, and I'm not sure where to go next. Well, time to wander around the world map and gain a few levels trying to find my way.

I got my final Club Nintendo platinum member reward: a free game download. I decided on Mario: Wolf of Wall Street Edition, otherwise known as New Super Mario Bros. 2, the one with all the coins. A lot of people complained when it came out that it was just more of the same, but so far I'm really enjoying the level design and grabbing all that cheddar. You can literally make it rain in this one.

I'm picking fights in the Hinterlands. I'm lost in the maze of the Forbidden Oasis. I'm dying for a romantic option with my Val Royeaux princess, Vivienne. I'm 40 hours into Dragon Age: Inquisition, and there's no light at the end of the tunnel. I'm having a good time Twitching my journey, too. I especially enjoy being mic'd up, using my voice that (according to one Gaming Nexus staffer) sounds like, "That one neighbor that everybody likes but no one hangs out with because he smokes a little too much weed." I don't do drugs, so I don't know what he's talking about.

Got the Resogun platinum trophy last weekend, so I started up Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag. Mostly just playing multiplayer at this point, me and the dozen others that still wander into the matchmaking. Will be putting most of the rest of my time into Shadowrun Chronicles: Boston Lockdown for an upcoming review. Also, it's a bank holiday weekend, woot woot! So three days to play.
