The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt is probably one of the most anticipated games of the year. The Witcher 2's mature atmosphere and story (and mature doesn't just mean riddled with violence and boobies) was such a huge breath of fresh air to everyone that played it and felt that the fantasy RPG was getting a little stale.
However, it wasn't a perfect game in my opinion. It was very linear, and certain aspects of the combat fell very flat. But the Witcher 3 seems to have addressed nearly every concern I had, and to have expanded in every way.
In this video, nothing too exciting really happens, but we get a feel for how the world of The Witcher 3 will work. And that's not to say we don't see some cool stuff too; we see Geralt go swimming underwater, some amazing weather effects with trees bending in the wind, and a good bit more about Geralt's detective vision, or whatever it's called in Witcher-ville.
The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt is due out May 19 of this year.
