Mortal Kombat X has been out for a little over a week but that doesn't mean NetherRealm is going to stop their MKasts. In fact, NetherRealm has one scheduled for tomorrow and will feature special guest, Shawn Kittelsen, current writer of the ongoing Mortal Kombat X comic book. The MKast itself is titled Blood Ties: MKX Komic so I would assume that a large portion of the show is going to be dedicated to that.
Now I can't really mention much because we would be going into spoiler territory but I really hope they mention some of the discrepancies between the comic and the game. For those who don't know, the comic acts as a prequel to the Mortal Kombat X console game.
The game's story takes place 25 years after the events of MK9 and the comic book takes place in between. Now, they have confirmed that the comic book IS canon, but let's just say that some pretty big things happen in the comic such as a character pretty much dying, but in the game it's like as if nothing ever happened. There is also a HUGE storyline currently happening in the comic book with some major characters... that never appear and are never mentioned once in the game.
No word yet if any other things will be shown on the MKast but I really hope we can get our first look at Jason Vorhees in action as he is scheduled to be released very soon.
The MKast can be seen on NetherRealm's official Twitch page, tomorrow April 23rd at 3PM CT
