It seems as though people are still trying to recover from the GTA V PC and Mortal Kombat X launches of last week as things get a bit quieter for this week. All of this week’s releases are on the digital side of things, which is good because it means that you don’t have to leave home to pick anything up. PlayStation fans are finally getting their hands on the amazing Shovel Knight from Yacht Club Games. The game has only been available on the PC and Wii U / 3DS until now and is widely considered a masterpiece. Plus, the PlayStation versions are Cross Buy, Cross Save and even feature a new boss battle with a pixelated Kratos! Ubisoft is also looking to take the Assassin’s Creed franchise in a new direction this week with the first entry in a new downloadable series. The first of three titles for Assassin’s Creed Chronicles covers an adventure in China as a 2D sidescrolling action game, which could be very interesting.
