MegaPhilX is close to unleashing v1.3.0 of Mega Man Unlimited and along with it comes a new playable character. While I won't spoil it here (I'll let the trailer do that), the character will be familiar to those who have played through the game. After seeing the trailer, the character looks pretty fun to play and I'm looking forward to v1.3 once it launches.
Other notes about the new character is that you'll be able to play as him if you beat the game on Original or Insta-Kill mode, but he is only playable in the main story, meaning you can't use him in Endless Attack, Endless Boss Attack, Whirlpool Man's stage, or Challenge Mode. He also learns new techniques from defeated Robot Masters and has no specific story, so it's more like a bonus mode.
