Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns mastery system detailed

Developer ArenaNet has revealed details for the upcoming Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns expansion pack regarding the Mastery system. The Mastery system allows for players to further progress their max level characters in an endgame pursuit titled the Legendary Journey.

Mastery points earned in-game can be used in the legendary crafting track to acquire legendary weapons. Another feature of the expansion pack includes the Map Bonuses system that adds a regular rotation of crafting material rewards for players that explore maps and complete events.
