Something new is coming to the world of Singularity, according to a tweet from Raven Software.
"We're going back," the tweet reads with accompanying hashtags of "Katorga12" and "RVN25" along with box art from the original game. Katorga-12 is the island where Singularity takes place, while RVN25 seems to stand for Raven's 25th anniversary, as the developer was founded in 1990.
Whether that something is another entry for the series or a remastered edition is unclear. The latter is more likely, but anything at this point is speculation.
A sequel to Raven's first-person shooter is certainly more intriguing, as the game has captured a cult following since its release in 2010. While Raven Software is a subsidiary of Activision, Singularity was the last new IP that they developed before working on the Call of Duty franchise.
