Another week, another new trailer for Mortal Kombat X. This week’s new trailer highlights the new first family of the MK universe: the Cage family. Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, and Cassie Cage are all playable characters in the game and shown at length in the video below. Johnny and Sonya have married, had a child (Cassie), and divorced since we last saw them and their relationship appears to be as rocky and volatile as ever.
As much as I am disappointed in seeing more returning characters rather than new faces, I do like Johnny’s new look. His fatality, which is shown at the very end, is also a very cool addition to MKX. There are only a few more week sleft until the game finally launches and I cannot wait.
