No surprise here: Mad Catz and Capcom team up for Street Fighter V

Capcom has got a new fighting game in the works and Mad Catz has some officially licensed peripherals lined up for its launch. Capcom and Mad Catz have announced an official, but not surprising, partnership to promote Street Fighter V when it launches next year on the PC and PlayStation 4. The two are working together to produce new lines of official SF V themed Fightsticks, Tournament Fightsticks, and FightPads. Mad Catz is also taking on the role of the official controller sponsor for Capcom’s upcoming Capcom Pro Tour and will provide the hardware for all of the scheduled events.

The new line of products is also going to feature a new product called the FightPad PRO, which should be a welcome addition to those who don’t necessarily want to go all of the way with a Fightstick. There aren’t any images of the new products but you can bet they will all be decked out with official character art and themes from the game.
