Blizzard took the opportunity of PAX East to announce that Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft would soon be coming to iPhones and Android phones. No release date is set but the development team is currently testing the Alpha version in-house. I am really interested to see how they manage to display the board and player's hands given the significant decrease in screen real estate on smart phones as opposed to the tablets and monitors it now runs.
In other Hearthstone news, Blackrock Mountain, a new wing-based expansion similar to the Curse of Naxxramus, will be released near the end of the month. Blackrock Mountain features five wings (one released each week for 5 weeks), with new class challenges, new Heroic modes, 31 new cards, and a new game board. Each wing will be $6.99 or 700 in-game Gold. There is a pre-order option for $24.99 that will be open March 19th, give access to all 5 wings when they are released and also nets you an exclusive card back.
Here's the release cinematic for Blackrock Mountain, start saving that gold people.
