Elite: Dangerous is headed to the Xbox One
One of my favorite games on the PC from last year is coming to the console. Frontier Developments has announced that Elite: Dangerous is coming to the Xbox One.
Details are a little scarce but the game should have all the content up to March's PC update. March's update is where Elite really makes playing cooperatively a lot easier and more rewarding.
Part of the appeal for me in playing Elite: Dangerous is using a HOTAS setup to fly around. There were some setups for the Xbox 360, so maybe we'll see some come out for the Xbox One.
The game's pretty massive, being a 1:1 recreation of the Milky Way for you to fly around. Let's hope there aren't many or any compromises for the game to come to the Xbox One. Frontier is looking to release the game sometime this year.

In an age of galactic superpowers and interstellar war, every player’s story influences the unique connected gaming experience and handcrafted evolving narrative. Governments fall, battles are lost and won, and humanity’s frontier is reshaped, all by players’ actions.
Elite: Dangerous for Xbox One will include all content added to the PC version by February’s Community Goals content update and March’s Wings content update. Available for free next week on PC, Wings unites players to cooperate and collaborate across the galaxy and share in the rewards together. Wings will empower players to help protect friends on a risky trade run, spread out to map systems or hunt prey, and work together to reshape the galaxy.
