Developer Techland has announced that recently-released Dying Light will receive modding tools that are described as being both free and extensive in nature. Following the modding success of their past games including Call of Juarez 2 and Dead Island, Techland is aiming to actively support the best mods released in the future.
Techland is inviting Dying Light players to visit their official discussion board to post mod ideas ranging from the ordinary to the crazy. With the game being an open world sandbox with zombies, I'm particularly excited to see what mod makers will create with the tools.
Dying Light is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows, and Linux. Note: the modding tools and mods will only be available for the PC version.
